Bespoke Process
The journey of making a bespoke pair of jeans begins with a visit to my studio. I will take your measurements and we will discuss in detail what style and fit would suit you, to best achieve a truly individual piece of clothing.
Following the fit, materials and details are chosen. You will be able to choose from a large selection of selvedge denim and other hand picked fabrics from Japan, Italy, England and the United States. Details to pick are plentiful and include thread color, buttons, rivets, specific reinforcements, construction techniques and custom requests.
I will handdraft your bespoke pattern and sew a sample pair for the first fitting.
Based on the first fitting I will make adjustments to the pattern and cut out the fabric.
For the second fitting, the jeans are assembled to a prefinished stage that still allows for changes to be made to achieve a perfect result.
After the second fitting the jeans will be finished and you can start imprinting your own story on your new bespoke garment.
